  1. happy new year OD. Im sure all the bad happenings will come to pass and kenyans will realise that the big dogs are sitting in their big houses surrounded with security 24/7 watching the poor butcher each other. What a shame. Raila should show his true statesmanship and call off any form of incitement-there is the court to sort out issues that he has. We are getting a picture of a very power hungry man. I bet u no one will will go out to demonstrate on 3rd.

  2. Happy New Year to All! OD, thanks for giving us this platform to share our thoughts. My prayers are with all. I don't think any side is celebrating with all the blood shed around us. Most in our generation haven't seen this kind of bloodshed in our country. It seems like a nightmare. All we can pray for is a peaceful resolution. We all need to get on with our daily lives. January is here and we don't even know when kids will be able to go back to school.
To Annon: I like to be an optimist, but I'm not sure what the court system will do in this case.
Peace to all. Have a blessed 2008.

  3. @annon, i dont know whether Raila or ruto is in control of this thing or even of their supporters. am begining to fear that the protests are developing a life of their own. secondly, i wonder why you are only picking on Raila for being power hungry, who in your view stole the ballot ? was it Raila or Kibaki. if you care for this nation like you claim then i must remind you that only truth will set us free. masking the truth has never helped anyone

  4. @no-spin, today we have got reports that several people were burnt to death in a church in Eldoret. reminds you of Rwanda. the problem is this is how the genocide started in 1994. people did not react until it was too late. the humanitarian crisis is already worsening. Question is: must Kibaki be president at any cost?

  5. How things can change in less than a week. A few days ago, we were making fun of each other..mimi ODM, wewe PNU, usual banter. And now people are being shot, burnt in churches, neighbor is rising against neighbor. I keep hoping it's all a dream but alas. The rollercoaster ride just began.
    Buckle your seatbelts.

  6. @OD: Man, the thought of another Rwanda situation just brings chills to my bones. Let's hope it doesn't get to that level. I'm quite disappointed that none of the leaders are vehemently condemning the violence. It's a shame that the "President" wished us a happy new year without giving any mention to what's going on in the country. The whole thing is just sickening.

  8. Screw anon 1, this is the shit Kikuyus are preaching through their Nation propaganda mouthpiece. First they seal the election and then deploy Kikuyu cops to shoot Luos in Kisumu to make it seem like just a Luo issue.

Now that they've realised that its bigger than justa Luo affair, they're asking Raila to calm down the kaleo warriors who are torching their asses in R Valley. Motherfu.ckers can rot in hell, your Kibaki stole the election, let him step down or Kenya will burn ad infinitim.

  9. The GEMA community is like the Jewish people the more you hate, kill, rape, demonish them the more the heavens bestow on them blessings. Cut the hatred people I guess most of you are living in 2 bedroom apartments rented from the Kyks. I guess most of you might have taken to bed a kyk be it from K-street or a sugar daddy. The luos will never measure up to the Kyks. Not even by getting the visionless Kalenjins on your side. After 24 yrs of Moi rule they have nothing to show for it. The GEMA survived years of colonial oppression,24 yrs of Kalenjin persecution, what else can't they survive????
